Do Unto Others, What Others Do Unto You

As someone said to me, “You can be an asshole, but at least you can accept people who behave like an asshole too.”

In short, do unto others, what others do unto you. The basic principle I live by, is to ask myself if I can handle how others treat me the way I treat them.

As much as I try to adhere to this code, there are moments when we snap. But the important thing is to recognize that you are at fault as much as the other party is.

Similarly, no man can do the job all by himself. What you lack, can be supplemented by others. No man is an island, and this is why we have to let go and place our faith in others to be fair to us.

Humans are never satisfied with the status quo, no matter how well-provided they are. The important thing is to know when to ask for more, and if you deserve it. Take a look around you, and put yourselves in the shoes of others to know if you are living the good life, or you should earn your keep.
