I’ve been keeping a tight lid on how I feel about certain co-workers in the office, mainly because I know work-related gossiping about colleagues never ends well. I’m all for the harmless gossips about scandalous affairs amongst people, about the girls’ crushes and eye candies. But talking amongst each other and bitching about colleagues have always been a big no-no to me.
Until yesterday.
It was a liberating experience. Because, I’ve heard rumours about people who aren’t on great terms with the colleague that I’m having problems with. To have it out in the open about my disdain for that colleague, and having others reaffirming it, telling me their own issues with the same colleague, really made me feel very relieved.
And at the same time, dirty, because I’ve plunged to the Dark Side and stepped on the path to no return. Such things have a tendency to bite people back in the ass, and I’ve opened myself to such attacks should these conversations reach the ears of people who shouldn’t know about it.
The office, is changing.
